What should a beginner buy first, if anything?
As a beginner, you want a clear answer: which program should you try first, and why should you avoid oversized accounts too early?
Your first prop firm should not be chosen because it advertises the biggest account or the strongest discount. It should be chosen because the rules are readable, the drawdown is understandable and the program lets you build discipline without constant rule anxiety.
An oversized account with complex rules increases the risk of accidental violations around news, drawdown, lot size or payout conditions. A smaller account with simple rules lets you test your process, learn discipline and scale later with more confidence.
